Millstone Township, New Jersey (February 8, 2011) - Friends and Neighbors in Action (FNA) announced their Second Annual Golf Outing, which will take place on May 2, 2011. The event will take place at Peddie Golf Club located in Hightstown, NJ. All net proceeds from the event will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Foundation (CFAF).
“All of us at FNA and CFAF are excited to build on the success of our 2010 Golf Outing,” said Nick Lombardi. “We are looking forward to making a difference in the lives of those affected by cystic fibrosis (CF) through the partnership between FNA and CFAF.”

FNA is a non-profit organization that assists those who suffer from serious chronic and debilitating diseases. We fund research, education, and community support programs to assist in finding cures and improving patient care and quality of life. Through joint events with established charity organizations, FNA provides support to a variety of causes that affect the Central New Jersey community, both at the organizational and individual family levels. Our support ranges from long-term goals, such as funding research, to individual emergencies.
CFAF is a NJ non-profit organization established in March 2004. The mission of the CFAF is to increase public awareness of CF. The foundation works with organizations that provide valuable medical research towards finding a cure. The CFAF supports groups that provide a better quality of life for those afflicted with CF.
All of us at Friends and Neighbors in Action (FNA) would like to extend our appreciation to the golfers, sponsors and volunteers who helped make the 1st Annual FNA Golf Outing a tremendous success. 64 golfers making 16 foursomes participated in this inaugural event. The generosity of all of those involved resulted in the event raising over $10,000 for the benefit of children with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Over $7,000 will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Foundation to assist research and direct family assistance for families of children with CF.
